HEAL Health Camp: Edition I
In December 2024 HEAL conducted its first health camp in collaboration with Thumbay Hospital, catering to 80-100 attendees and providing screenings and checkups for underserved workers. In collaboration with Thumbay Hospital, the camp provided access to 4 General Physicians and 5 Nurses to conduct cholesterol screenings, blood pressures tests and BMI tests, prescribing medicines and further assessments where necessary. The camp included both insurance and non-insurance booths to ensure adequate medical attention was received by all attendees alike. Alongside the medical provisions, HEAL also sponsored the donation of cholesterol machines, and food boxes and water bottles for all attendees.
HEAL Health Camp: Edition II
In January 2025, we organized HEAL's second health camp, which served between 100 to 200 underserved individuals. The event was staffed by 3 experienced doctors and a team of nurses who conducted routine health screenings, including cholesterol, BMI, and blood pressure checks. With the support of 4 student volunteers, we ensured smooth coordination and that every attendee received personalised care and attention throughout the day.
HEAL Health Camp: Edition III
In February 2025, we facilitated HEAL’s third health camp, reaching over 200 participants from marginalized communities. Supported by 2 doctors and a dedicated nursing staff, the camp provided essential medical assessments such as cholesterol testing, BMI measurements, and blood pressure monitoring. A team of 3 volunteers assisted in managing logistics and ensuring that each attendee was guided through the check-up process with care and efficiency.
HEAL Health Camp: Edition IV
In May 2025, we conducted the fourth edition of the HEAL Health Camp, held in the workers camp, which was attended by approximately 200 people. The event offered general health examinations and made it easier to seek additional treatment with the help of five medical experts and four student volunteers.
